high copper beryllium ; copper beryllium alloy 25 and copper beryllium alloy 165 (high strength alloy)

Features
|

Copper beryllium alloy 25 has the highest strength and hardness in the copper alloy family. This material has not only the strength equals to that of special steel, but also an excellent spring quality, electrical conductivity, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, etc. because of our unique heat treatment.

Principal applications:

Electrodes for resistance welding
Electrode wheels
Parts of welding machines (arms, holders
and treatment devices, etc.)
Parts, housing, and accessories of repeaters
in undersea optical fiber cables
Material to make dies and molds

|
This alloy has not only high-electrical conductivity but also the right mechanical property for manufacture of electrodes or machinery parts. We make bars by means of drawing and any shapes of alloy can be made by forging and casting. Beryllium copper alloy 50 (50C alloy) is a precipitation-hardened alloy by aging. Therefore, a high-mechanical property can be obtained by heat treatment. Beryllium copper can be used in various endues, depending on the beryllium contents and characteristics. This beryllium copper alloy 50 has a very low amount of, about 0.2%-0.4%, beryllium in the alloy.
